About the Role

The Senior Brand Designer will be responsible for helping shape the visual identity of SmithRx and ensuring consistent and compelling design across all marketing channels. This role requires a versatile designer with expertise in web design, UI/UX, graphic design, and marketing design. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio demonstrating a keen eye for detail, creativity, and the ability to balance strategic and executional work within a lean team.

What You'll Do

Brand: Administer the maintenance and upkeep of SmithRx's visual identity, including logo design, color palette, typography, and brand guidelines.

Ensure consistency and coherence of the brand's visual identity across all touchpoints.

Collaborate with the marketing team to create visually appealing campaigns that align with the brand's identity and messaging.

Web: Design and maintain the company's website, ensuring it is visually appealing, user-friendly, and responsive.

Collaborate with web developers to implement design changes and improvements.

Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for new web pages and features.

Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and enhance the user experience.

UI/UX: Design intuitive and engaging user interfaces for the web.

Conduct user research, create user personas, and map out user journeys to inform design.

Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that prioritize user experience.

Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs are implemented effectively.

Graphic Design : Create compelling visual content for various marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, posters, and presentations.

Design eye-catching graphics for social media, email campaigns, and online advertisements.

Ensure all graphic designs align with the brand's visual identity and messaging.

Manage and organize digital assets, ensuring they are easily accessible and up-to-date.

Marketing Design : Lead the design of marketing campaigns, including digital and print collateral.

Collaborate with the marketing team to create visually appealing and effective marketing materials.

Design engaging content for social media platforms, ensuring consistency with the brand's voice and style.

Develop visuals for email marketing campaigns, ensuring they are responsive and visually appealing.

What You Bring to SmithRx Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.

7+ years of experience in brand design, web design, UI/UX design, and graphic design.

Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design skills and projects.

Expertise in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Sketch, Figma, and other relevant tools.

Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout design.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Experience with HTML/CSS and web design best practices is a plus.

Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality designs.

Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution within a lean team environment.
