These agencies include, but aren’t limited to Yamamoto (B2B), HarrisX (Influencer) and KWT (PR). Doner Media is the latest addition to the group, providing best-in-class media and analytics services, fueled by data and made stronger with the collaboration with our DPN partner agencies.
As we grow, we are in search of a Director, Planning & Media Strategy, leading go-to-market strategies across paid media and collaborating with complementary services across the network.
We are passionate that media is not just an output and can be much more valuable than buying impressions. Media is a valuable input into the overall strategy and can provide data and insight to inspire. We are looking for a planning director with QSR experience, used to working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a small team, getting into the details regularly, and mentoring a junior team.
What You’ll Do:
Highly visible client-facing role.
Collaborate with DPN partners to deliver integrated approach and increase effectiveness of client outcomes.
Provide thought leadership internally and externally.
Serve as a strategic leader with media expertise.
Lead data-led integrated strategy for assigned clients.
Responsible for team proficiency/ KPI setting of your team.
Manage to SOWs to ensure client needs are met while balancing talent needs.
Provide people-first leadership approach to foster a culture of curiosity and passion.
Lead the overall delivery of integrated strategic insights & approach across paid, earned, shared and owned on behalf of assigned clients.
Train and collaborate with team to contribute on development of brand and media strategies.
What You Need to Succeed:
9+ Years of Experience in Comms Planning, QSR experience a must.
Builder mentality and confidence to provide input and pushback in group setting.
5+ years of leadership experience managing a team.
Ability to deeply understand client’s business and the role media plays in their success.
Collaborative way of working.
Able to stay organized with multiple priorities.
People-first mentality and approach to team
Client-facing experience and confidence to large groups of people.
Communication skills (PPT, visual story telling necessary) to explain how strategy and executional approach ties to business goals.
Ability to keep up to date on key trends that impact our clients.
Excellent relationship building, diplomacy, and decision-making skills with the ability to think creatively.
Vast understanding of the media landscape across channels.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with MediaOcean/Prisma a plus.
