Responsibilities
As our Lead Software Engineer, you will:
Act in a lead role partnering with the team’s solution architect, engineers, and QA to drive technical decisions in projects.
Consult in the technical definition of scope and design for new and maintained features.
Coordinate team deployments.
Provide mentoring to team members in solution design and development practices.
Help establish the creation and sharing of software development standards.
Deliver high-quality, secure, efficient, scalable, and reusable code that always protects customer privacy and confidentiality.
Extend existing system functionality based on user requirements; analyze code to identify areas for modification; and maintain and support existing products.
Provide input on our architecture, databases, and APIs.
Partner with teammates to ensure cohesive, quality, usable solutions are produced and tested.
Test, evaluate and recommend technologies to improve our overall solutions.
Be a key participant in our agile development framework.
Produce complete and coherent documentation.

Qualifications
Requirements:
8+ years of experience in all aspects of the application development process: Epic/Story elaboration, technical design, coding, deployment, and documentation creation.
8+ years of development experience delivering scalable full-stack solutions using C#, .NET Core/.NET 6, RESTful API, JavaScript, jQuery, SQL Server, and No-SQL databases.
6+ years of experience in writing Unit Tests and using tools like ReSharper for code coverage.
4+ years of hands-on experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and automated testing.
4+ years of experience delivering Service Oriented Architectural solutions on Azure, including containerization using platforms like Docker.
Proficiency in Cloud Native Development, focusing on scalable and resilient design.
Experience in Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Grid, Azure Functions, and transactional queues.
Strong experience with code analysis tools like SonarQube and application security.
Experienced in developing, managing, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, with full competence in integrating security practices, including the use of SAST and DAST, for secure software delivery.
Expert in Git and Git UI tools with a strong grasp of branching strategies.
Experienced in using Application Insight for tracing transactions and logs.
4-year degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
