The Global Networking and Engineering team at Nutanix is a diverse group of 50-100 professionals spread across the globe. They have successfully modernized office networks to WIFI 6 standards, implemented user-configurable SDN at scale, and reduced support calls by utilizing AI technology to handle 40% of user issues. Your Role

Manage programs and systems for datacenters and networking operations, including overseeing purchasing, logistics, vendor management, sustainability, and scalability.

Work collaboratively with engineering, IT network operations, and support operations to ensure seamless cross-functional communication and cooperation.

In your first year, focus on simplifying datacenter purchasing processes, consolidating supply chain vendors, and collaborating with networking vendors on updating infrastructure for future scalability and efficiency.

Develop strong relationships with key vendors and suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and ensure timely and efficient delivery of necessary resources.

Continuously evaluate and improve the performance and effectiveness of datacenters and networking operations to drive innovation and growth within the organization.

What You Will Bring

Work collaboratively with development teams to enhance network features and streamline environment setup.

Demonstrate experience in working with diverse teams, including business, finance, legal, and engineering departments.

Show proficiency in solving complex problems effectively.

Preferably hold a Bachelor's degree.

Proficient in utilizing Scrum, Waterfall, Jira, and Servicenow technologies.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 112,080 and USD $ 224,160 per year.

However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
