Inventory Control Specialist

Summary: Responsible for performing Input /Output control duties, research and inventory consolidations. Shipping and receiving duties to be performed upon request.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
General

All work duties must be performed at company facilities unless a request to perform work duties from home has been submitted to and approved in the supervisor's discretion.*
Specific Performs all daily Input/Output functions, including running I/O report, calling out metal types & quantities. Must have a general knowledge of metal types and brands.*
Accurately record all corrections needed to amend errors found during I/O process.*
Must be neat and orderly while working at a high pace.*
Ability to accurately and swiftly deposit metals into client accounts.*
Must have strong attention to detail while boxing Allocated material. *
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time while processing in-shipment reports.*
Load and unload delivery vehicles to include operating fork trucks, lifting and carrying up to 70 pounds, and stocking in appropriate areas throughout the vault/warehouse*.
Operate fork truck to unload pallets and heavier materials.
Conducts physical counts of customer holdings as assigned by the Depository Manager, in accordance to the perpetual audit policy*.
Prepares precious metals to be delivered via commercial courier, U.S. Postal Service, personal pick-up and armored carrier, in accordance with established company procedures*.
Receives and processes incoming packages sent to company via commercial courier, U.S. Postal Service personal drop-off and armored carrier* upon request.
Delivers packages to U.S. Post Office, Federal Express and other carriers in accordance with established company guidelines*.
Reports any malfunctions or damage to warehouse lift equipment, security devices, etc. to management*.
Performs end-of-day security procedures, including securing vault door and arming security system.
Performs general maintenance of the facility including routine trash clean up in and around the perimeter of the facility, light bulb replacement and other tasks.
Maintain a neat and orderly work area at all times*.
Communicate suspected or actual errors, inaccuracies and problems to management promptly*.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent combination of education and experience. 1-3 years prior shipping/receiving experience helpful. Knowledge of bullion products preferred.
