Summary
Facilitates the maintenance of the therapeutic environment in the psychiatric unit and assists patients with daily living activities.
Establishes a therapeutic relationship with assigned patients.
Responsibilities
* Takes vital signs, weighs patients and collects routine specimens.
* Attends and participates in group therapy, in-service education and staff meetings.
Qualifications
Education
Required: Minimum 60 hours of human services, psychology, education, sociology, or related field.
Experience
Required: 1 year of experience
Certifications
Required: CPR
