The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Mid-Level Environmental Engineer to join the team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a world class Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) team located in Berkeley, MO .

As an environmental engineering air compliance focal, the selected candidate will work with the St. Louis Region team to supports the development, implementation, and monitoring of environmental management systems, processes and programs. Works with internal and external stakeholders to assess the impact of emerging environmental issues, legislation and regulations on company operations.

Position Responsibilities:

Supports air quality in areas such as, regulatory reporting, record keeping, Title V permitting and compliance, SARA 312-313, Emission Inventory, National Emission Standards Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP) compliance

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. The position will involve some local travel as the team supports several sites in the St. Louis Region.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor’s degree or higher

3+ years of experience with environmental compliance, environmental program management

3+ years of experience in areas of air quality, stormwater, hazardous waste, industrial wastewater, spill prevention, storage tanks, environmental sampling, data analysis, and environmental reporting

3+ years of experience working with internal and external stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, environmental science, chemistry, geology, or environmental management

3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience with environmental compliance and regulations

Environmental Permitting Experience with Illinois EPA preferred

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $90,100 – $121,900
