Sia Partners' Managing Directors (MD) are critical leaders who drive the success and shape of our firm. They are integral in Business Development and Growth, Account Management and Service Delivery.

As the primary driver of new business development and revenue generation, MDs use their extensive network of connections to acquire new clients to support the growth of the firm. They will be expected to expand their network, strengthen current relationships and cultivate new ones.

An ideal MD candidate will lead business development efforts, inclusive of supporting current client engagements and account growth, while also having a proven ability to identify, nurture and mature new client relationships and new growth opportunities for the firm. MDs will serve as a key point of contact to provide industry best practices, guidance, and thought leadership to help support our clients and partners on their transformation journeys.

Responsibilities

Consulting Demonstrates ability to effectively manage time across multiple domains and work efforts, has keen ability to problem solve and provide proactive solutions both internally for Sia and externally for our clients; has ability to lead, structure and manage meetings; adept at utilizing a variety of tools and methodologies to best align with client needs and culture; has a highly collaborative approach to support client delivery and client growth.

Project Management: supervises multiple projects and manages programs while supporting team members; gives support and guidance to managers to help navigate complex issues and/or difficult situations; leads strategic meetings, and shares best knowledge and best practices

Business Expertise Plays a primary role in the cultivation of new client relationships, new client engagements and revenue growth; serves as a subject matter expert in Digital Transformation and Business Transformation while representing Sia’s core capabilities and expertise.

Plays a key role in the development of new strategic solutions, and contributes valuable insights and perspectives to enhance the efficacy of the organization’s strategic decision-making processes

Business Development Minimum Revenue Generated: $1.5 million

Minimum Managed Revenue: $1 million

Actively engaged in go-to-market, market facing and origination, as well as creating awareness, building brand, and increasing reputational capital of Sia Partners

People Management Supervises and leads team-based projects; establishes goals; coaches and evaluates and supports growth of consultants and team members; identifies internal areas of improvement while having a proactive approach to problem solving; helps to develop and support growth of Senior Managers and Consultants.

Leadership Provides guidance, coaching, direction and support of consultants’ “followership”

Actively participates as a member of the Digital Transformation Steering Committee

Based in the Philadelphia area with ability to travel, on a limited basis to support client delivery and new client development.

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Proven ability in leading sales/business development efforts to support and mature existing client relationships and revenue growth while having a proven track record and ability to hunt, develop and mature new client relationships and opportunities.

15+ years of consulting experience, with a focus on digital transformation in large, global, corporate environments.

Demonstrated competency in Digital Transformation with core strengths in some and/or all the following areas: IT Strategy development, enterprise-level software selection and implementation (e.g., ERP, PLM, MES, LIMS, etc.), Agile Project Management, IT Service Management, enterprise architecture, data migration, AI and data analytics, RPA, and more.

Demonstrated expertise in the manufacturing industry. Chemical industry is a plus.

Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex projects.

Broad knowledge of available commercial-off-the-shelf software solutions, tools, technical standards, and integration techniques.

Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal skills, and sales savvy.

Pennsylvania Compensation Information

Philadelphia base compensation for this role is between $190,000 - $220,000. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual’s skills, experience and qualifications.

Personal Sales Bonus based on origination of revenue and/or managed revenue
