Hybrid Program Support Specialist

Job Description: The Hybrid Program Support Specialist is responsible for the overall administrative support of the physical therapy program.

Location: Glenside

Responsibilities :

Work closely with Program Director Hybrid DPT, DPT Program Director and DPT Program Manager in all aspects of implementation of the program.

Coordinate and communicate with students, faculty and associated faculty.

Coordinate and communicate with Hybrid and Residential Program Support specialists.

Create and maintain processes to assist with management and assessment of DPT program.

Maintain & manage learning management systems

Set up and manipulate media between learning platforms

Serve as hybrid student point of contact

Support and maintain documents for program administration and accreditation

Document meeting minutes

Post student announcements

Maintain Communication database

Additional responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree or Equivalent

Minimum of one year of previous professional experience working in an academic or high-level administrative office

Strong PC skills including demonstrated expertise in using Microsoft Office applications, Google applications, and other curriculum-related software

Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, superior judgment and discretion in handling confidential information, and strong organizational aptitude

Previous office experience and ability to work as a committed team member with a willingness to help out where and when needed

Must possess mature judgment, professional demeanor and appearance, and possess cross-cultural sensitivity

Demonstrated ability to effectively solve problems and initiate and implement projects independently

Candidate must also be very detail-oriented, with the ability to handle multiple assignments concurrently and to work efficiently and accurately within deadlines

Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and experience working with diverse populations

Must be a self-starter; possess a positive working attitude, excellent prioritization, problem-solving and decision-making skills; confidentiality, tact, patience, willingness to help and diplomacy are critical features of this position

Ability to move about campus and other locations, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Physical ability to include standing and/or walking for long periods, bending, kneeling and stooping, manual dexterity, and ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
