The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the credit risk of customers, establishing and implementing credit policies, and ensuring timely collections to optimize cash flow. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of credit management principles.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement credit policies and procedures in line with company objectives.

Assess and analyze creditworthiness of new and existing customers.

Establish credit limits and terms for customers based on risk assessment.

Monitor and manage overdue accounts, including initiating collection efforts.

Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to address credit-related issues and resolve disputes.

Negotiate payment plans and settlements with customers when necessary.

Provide regular reports and analysis on credit performance to senior management.

Stay informed about industry credit trends and regulations.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Credit Manager or in a similar credit risk management role.

Strong knowledge of credit management principles, credit scoring models, and risk assessment.

Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations governing credit and collections.

Proficiency in using credit analysis software and MS Office.
