Job Summary
This position is responsible for producing designs based out of principle, practice, and research that promotes the betterment of the user experience; initiating activities and managing the expectations of design peers, product teams and stakeholders.
In this role, you will work closely with creative and technical disciplines to create the UI tokens & components with usage documentation, foundational patterns, as well as design & development tools that empower HCSC’s public facing design system. Additionally, this role integrates with teams to support the building of consistent digital experiences while utilizing our design system and supports the onboarding of new design system users to encourage intuitive and efficient user experiences.
Required Job Qualifications:
Bachelors degree and 2 years of expereince user in product/UX Design/Graphic Design OR 6 years of expereince in product/UX Design
A portfolio demonstrating your ability to craft engaging experiences across multiple channels (e.g. desktop and mobile)
Understanding of the human centered design process
History of staying informed about best practices in human centered design
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively Preferred Job Qualifications:
Ability to design for desktop and mobile experiences
Demonstrated ability to design for desktop and mobile experiences
Experience practicing any or all of the following: HCD, Design Thinking, Visual Design, Mobile Design, Prototyping and Heuristics
Experience designing for conversational/voice UI
Understanding of how Design Systems add value
Ability to rapidly prototype concepts
Deliver value to the business through well-crafted and timely work
Highly collaborative and able to self start on a cross-functional team
Communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders
Welcome design critique and consistently iterate based on feedback
Learn from everyone mindset
Use prototyping tools such as Sketch, Invision, Axure, Adobe CC, Jira
Experience with usability testing
