You will leverage your extensive expertise to set the vision for HMA's product & marketing strategy, deliver a robust portfolio of products, modernize HMA's marketing tech stack and how we use technology to market and grow our brands, and build HMA's brands in the market.

What YOU will do:

Product Strategy & Roadmap

Shape the short-term and long-term vision for HMA's products

Use competitive intelligence, market trends and HMA data to develop HMA's multi-year product roadmap. Translate the big picture vision into a discrete set of priorities. Ensure the roadmap is aligned with business and customer needs.

Serve as an evangelist for the product mindset at HMA. Use that mindset to cut through the clutter and simplify wherever possible. Provide leadership and guidance to support effective and elegant product design.

Marketing

Oversee creation and execution of HMA's marketing strategy & program inclusive of social media, thought leadership, and events.

Evaluate performance of campaigns and strategies and leverage this data to enhance the effectiveness of HMA's marketing program over time.

Develop and execute strategies to strengthen HMA's brand in the marketplace. Provide strategy and insights to ensure all creative assets and marketing campaigns support HMA's brand values.

Analyze market & competitive trends; use this intelligence to identify new markets, new products, program planning and forecasting.

Lead the modernization strategy, selection, and implementation of an integrated marketing tech stack to deliver on HMA's brand promise.

Functional and Team Leadership

Provides coaching, direction and guidance for the product and marketing teams.

Directly leads, mentors and guides marketing team.

Develops the annual product and marketing budget. Accountable for ensuring financial targets and other yearly metrics for HMA's product portfolio are achieved.

Collaborate with leaders across HMA to align marketing and product strategies to HMA's overall corporate strategy.

Knowledge, Experience, and Key Attributes needed for Success:

Passion for proving what's possible in healthcare; you believe healthcare can be better and are energized by the opportunity to be part of a team working to improve it

Significant experience setting a vision and translating from the vision to a plan of attack to accomplish key objectives.

3+ years of experience in a senior management role; must be able to partner with other leaders to achieve overall business objectives.

15+ years of experience developing and executing product & marketing strategies to achieve measurable results, ideally in the healthcare payor space

Excellent brand strategy and creative writing skills. Demonstrated ability to translate broad strategic objectives into action.

10+ years of success building and leading high-performance teams. Proven ability to hire and grow talent, including in a remote environment.

5+ years of success leading teams through the selection and implementation of an integrated marketing tech stack.

Highly accountable. Willing to roll up your sleeves to get the job done when needed to ensure you & your team deliver on commitments.

Track record of using data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.

Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, with the ability to influence and communicate cross-functionally and at all levels of the organization.

Compensation

The base salary for this position in the greater Seattle area is $201,000-$225,000 and varies dependent on geography, skills, experience, education, and other job or market-related factors. Performance-based incentive bonus(es) is available. In addition, HMA provides a generous total rewards package for full-time employees that includes: seventeen (IC) days paid time off; eleven paid holidays, one paid personal and one paid volunteer day; company-subsidized medical, dental, vision, and prescription insurance; company-paid disability, life, and AD&D insurances; voluntary life insurances; HSA and FSA pre-tax programs; 401(k)-retirement plan with company match; wellness incentive and reimbursement; remote work and continuing education reimbursements; discount program; parental leave; and a charitable giving match.
