**Overview**
We are currently seeking a warehouse manager to join our organization. This professional multi-tasker will manage and oversee the warehouse operations. The ideal candidate is exceptionally detail-oriented and able to track multiple aspects of the warehouse at any given time. Excellent understanding and knowledge of electrical material and construction.
**Job Description**
* The warehouse manager will communicate with union employees in order for his staff to fulfill job orders. Provide inventory and equipment accuracy, coordinate, and track orders, ultimately overseeing warehouse operations.
* Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency.
* Implementing operational policies and procedures. Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, and inventory management.
* Train and manage a warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals.
* Oversee daily operations while controlling and managing inventory and logistics.
* Review and prepare workflow, equipment layout, and action plans while ensuring productivity and quality.
* Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
* Supervise the warehouse's daily activities, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and prefab.
* Schedule and oversee the warehouse team to meet the workforce demands and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency.
* Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance as needed.
* Meet periodically with the management to review, analyze, and actionable plans for productivity and loss prevention.
**Qualifications**
* High school diploma or GED. 5+ years experience in a warehouse lead role managing hourly employees. Proficient knowledge of warehouse procedure and policy.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities.
* Ability to work with all levels of company staff.
* Computer knowledge & skills Good working knowledge of Microsoft products
(Outlook, Word & Excel)
* Must have a valid drivers license and be able to pass a background check.
(CDL not required, but a plus)
