We are seeking an IT Systems Admin (co-op/intern) to join our team here in Santa Clara. You will be onsite 3-5 days per week and work 20-40 hours per week, depending on your school term.
This role is on-site based out of Santa Clara, CA.
Responsibilities:
Assisting with maintenance, support, and monitoring of our infrastructure in the Toronto, Austin, and Santa Clara offices
Assisting with administration of Linux systems; systems security tasks including security scanning, patching and systems hardening
Assisting with the configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of tools and inventory
Researching and assisting with integration of new technologies, transitioning operations from traditional administration and deployment to infrastructure as application, leveraging automation/configuration management technologies
Support Mac & Windows users when escalations require
Continuous learning mentality maintained at all times, effort towards is expected at all times
Will be assigned to projects of all types in IT, will be working with all IT staff at given times
Other duties as determined from time to time
Experience & Qualifications:
Completed at least 1 year of studies in a relevant field
Curious and not afraid to ask questions and solve ambiguous problems
Calm under pressure
Proven ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment
Good level of written and verbal communication skills
Asset: Previous similar experience or completed projects in the area
Compensation for all engineers at Tenstorrent ranges from $100k - $500k including base and variable compensation targets. Experience, skills, education, background and location all impact the actual offer made.
