The Staff Pad has partnered with the largest community-based behavioral health and substance use treatment services organization in the state of Oregon. Our client is a Certified Community Behavioral Health Center seeking a Director of Nursing Services to join their organization.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing Services. This role involves supervising and supporting nursing leadership staff across behavioral health and primary care, ensuring high-quality care in outpatient, residential, and community outreach settings. The Director will play a key role in integrating primary and behavioral health efforts and promoting Trauma Informed Care.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Supervision: Support and supervise nursing leadership staff, ensure adequate coverage, conduct performance reviews, and coordinate training.
Administrative Oversight: Oversee nursing programs for operational efficiency, participate in business planning, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Clinical Consultation: Provide clinical support, promote best practices, and integrate Trauma Informed Care, Harm Reduction, and Motivational Interviewing.
Integration of Care: Facilitate the integration of primary and behavioral health efforts, and oversee care coordination.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in nursing and 3 years in a supervisory role.
Licensure: Current RN license in Oregon.
Skills: Strong leadership, administrative, and clinical skills; proficiency in trauma-informed care practices.
