If you have a background in software test automation or a complementary IT field and enjoy providing end-to-end solutions to software quality problems, we would like to meet you.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts that provide comprehensive coverage of new features and enhancements

Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks that support test scenarios across multiple projects

Interacting with web and mobile UIs, APIs, and SQL/NoSQL DBs to drive test steps and verify results

Monitor and report on test suite execution status

Analyze test failures to identify root causes

Identify, isolate, replicate, report, and track defects to closure

Document and provide training on automated test processes and tools

Analyze test coverage and identify areas for improvement

Participate in sprint ceremonies to estimate, plan, coordinate, and reflect on testing activities

Participate in the identification and implementation of continuous improvement opportunities within the QA function and broader project teams

What You’ll Need to Have:

Experience designing and implementing test automation frameworks

Experience coding test automation frameworks in Java and/or Python

Experience using Selenium, Appium, or comparable automation tools

Experience developing automated tests at UI, API, and DB levels

Experience automating tests for web and mobile applications

Solid knowledge of SQL and NoSQL

Experience in testing large, distributed systems serving multiple clients

Experience working in an Agile/Scrum or DevOps software development team

Strong sense of ownership, initiative, and teamwork

Strong problem-solving solving skills

Quick to adapt and learn new technology

Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to clearly express technical concepts

A sharp eye for quality; meticulous about detail and completeness

Proven ability to work effectively in a geographically distributed team

Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related subject or comparable work experience

Bonus Points For:

Experience implementing tests in Cucumber and/or Robot Framework

Experience working on enterprise or state-level government SaaS solutions

Understanding of hunting & fishing licensing, volunteer & events management, vehicle registration, and/or payments ecosystems
