As a Housekeeper, you will:
... perform any combination of light cleaning duties for the community. You will be responsible for maintaining a vibrant community through clean and safe general housekeeping practices by following cleaning schedules for resident laundry, apartments, dining area, living space, bathrooms, and kitchen.
What you'll do here: Clean and sanitize resident apartments, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, elevators, stairways, and other communal areas
Ensure floors and carpets are kept clean by sweeping, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, shampooing, and disinfecting as needed
Ensure all safety precautions are met, such as appropriately using caution and safety signs to maintain resident and visitor safe
Assist residents with ADLs and iADLs including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, transferring, and eating in accordance with each person's individual care plan and task sheets
Serve meals to residents in the dining room or apartments daily
Document and notify community leadership team of any changes in resident's physical condition and behavior in accordance with Enlivant policies and procedures
Assist the Life Enrichment Coordinator in facilitating resident activities as they are scheduled
Perform general housekeeping and resident laundry
Take residents' vital signs when appropriate
Build meaningful relationships with residents through day-to-day interactions
Clean linens, make beds, and assist with resident laundry according to the cleaning schedule
Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy
Perform other duties as assigned
We'd love to talk if: You meet, have, or are eligible to obtain all applicable state requirements and certifications
You have basic written and oral English communication skills
You care about serving seniors
Bonus points if: You have prior work experience in housekeeping as a maid, room attendant, house cleaner, and /or custodian
You have a High School Diploma (or equivalent)
You have experience interacting with individuals diagnosed with dementia and Alzheimer's disease
Pay Range: $12.50 -$15 / hour, based on experience
You are required to complete any necessary health requirements which may change from time-to-time, such as vaccination.
