Overview
Schedule: Sun - Sat: 7:00pm - 7:30am
Position Summary: The MedSurge Duque 4/5 is a 52-bed medical/surgical unit that cares for a broad range of patients including NICCU graduates, respiratory diagnoses such as bronchiolitis, and short stay general surgery, ENT and orthopedic patients. There is also a section designated for the epilepsy monitoring unit, patients with neurological disorders and patients with behavioral health issues and eating disorders.
Minimum Qualifications: Able to write, speak fluently and understand English. 1+ year previous experience as a PCSA, Medical Assistant or Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) preferred.
Nursing Student Applicants: Completion of pediatric rotation preferred.
Education/Licensure/Certifications: High School graduate and American Heart Association BLS required.
Pay Scale Information
$34,944.00-$56,212.00

Final determination of a successful candidate’s starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
