What you’ll do:
Coordinate legal communications
Manage calendars, including trial dates, hearing dates, depositions, etc.
Schedule client meetings, depositions, hearings and handling logistical needs
Draft, revise and proofread legal documents and correspondence
Handle preparation of hearing, trial, and deposition notebooks and exhibits
Assist with electronic filing of pleadings, exhibits and other legal documents
Maintain legal and confidential files and dockets in strict confidence
Perform related or similar duties as required or assigned
What you bring:
Knowledge of lifecycle of a lawsuit and terminology
A self-starter attitude
Attention to detail and accuracy of work product
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
Ability to draft correspondences and pleadings
Ability to accurately file documents, maintain calendar of depositions, and prepare document productions (with Bates numbers)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Superior technology skills – proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe; experience with iManage and Aderant a plus
Exceptional organizational skills
High degree of professionalism
