Description
Chesmar Homes is a private Texas homebuilder with offices in Austin, Houston, Dallas, and San Antonio. We are growing and are currently seeking a Architectural Designer to take our company to the next level. This position is responsible for generating accurate CAD construction documents under strict guidelines, review plans for errors/omissions, and find solutions. Ability to shift priorities and adapt to constant changing deadlines.
Job Responsibilities:
Generate accurate Address-Specific plans and Address-Specific plot plans
Make necessary plan revisions to existing master plans
Field validates plan errors and enter necessary revisions
Apply custom plan changes for address-specific plans as necessary
Assist with additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
Proficient with standard software such as Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook
Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Strong attention to details, high degree of accuracy and excellent organizational skills
Exemplary customer service
Self-discipline, an aptitude for making good decisions and works efficiently under deadlines
Must be able to handle the pressure of a fast-paced office high work volume
The ability to work both independently and as a team member
Experience in residential drafting required, prefer production home builder
Education Requirements:
Minimum High School Diploma, bachelor's degree preferred.
Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD
