About the Role: At ETAP , we are a Product team driven by data, and focused on building the most powerful Auto Insurance product and business in Africa. Working alongside our team will allow you to flex different muscles as you tackle challenging marketing and branding tasks.

We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager to develop and execute marketing strategies to increase product awareness and adoption. If you're a passionate experienced product marketer with demonstrable success in working with emerging products and driving GTM strategies, you're just who we're looking for.

As a Product Marketing Manager you will promote products and their features to an ETAP target audience. Your duties include studying the company’s products, locating key features that will attract customers and creating marketing campaigns for products.

What you will do: Develop product messaging that differentiates the ETAP platform and proposition from others in the market.

Establish go-to-market strategies for our product (target customer segments and use cases, monetization, pricing, positioning, value proposition, partner prioritization).

Help define the content strategy and create compelling content (presentations, blogs, case-studies, ebooks, website copy, etc.) that highlight our product value

Study ETAP products to have a deep knowledge in order to smoothly execute the marketing process.

Create marketing plans and campaigns for ETAP products to attract new customers.

Develop and implement promotional activities such as platform release /updates, technical webinars and platform update launches.

Develop and implement online media campaigns to target key audiences, and measure success in achieving them, including integrating social media and other audience engagement tools where relevant.

Support the planning, implementing and monitoring of appropriate digital media and social media analytics and media strategies to promote effective online communications and engagement.

Ensure marketing programs have the appropriate level of supporting materials such as messaging, pricing, offers, distribution channel support, and KPIs.

Provide product guidance and direction based upon sales successes, customer feedback, and evolving market trends to key stakeholders.

Build and manage impactful & innovative product launch plans that are fully synced with business and revenue goals and ensure effective and ongoing relevance in the market to drive demand generation and pipeline.

Enjoy working as a team to solve problems collaboratively

3+ years as a Product Marketing Manager in a Tech Startup

Attested experience constructing marketing plans encompassing strategy, customer research, competitive analysis, product requirements, messaging, pricing, etc

Experience initiating and driving a range of GTM programs including, webinars, trade shows, social media, content marketing etc.

Using automation to improve processes and programs is something you're passionate about. You like to work with your hands, experiment, measure, and get hands-on.

Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills, with an eye for quality and attention to detail

An initiator and a pusher. Has the urge and ability to make things happen and to solve practical problems in a dynamic environment.

Ability to handle a number of concurrent activities with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
