Information Security Engineer Summary
The Information Security Engineer will be an integral member of the Enterprise Identity Team. In this position you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining security solutions focused on Identity and Access Management (IAM).
Key Responsibilities :
Design and Implement Security Solutions : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust security solutions related to Identity and Access Management using Okta as the primary tool.
Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) : Develop and maintain Identity Governance and Administration processes and policies to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Identity Lifecycle Management : Manage user access lifecycle including provisioning, de-provisioning, and access reviews to ensure timely and accurate access management.
Integration and Automation : Integrate Okta with various enterprise systems and applications to automate user provisioning, authentication, and authorization processes.
Security Compliance : Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Incident Response and Management : Respond to security incidents related to identity and access management, conduct thorough investigations, and implement remediation measures.
Documentation and Training : Develop comprehensive documentation, guidelines, and training materials to facilitate knowledge transfer and ensure efficient utilization of security tools and processes.
Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing : Act as a subject matter expert and collaborate with internal teams to provide guidance on security best practices and emerging threats related to identity and access management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
7 years experience in cybersecurity including compliance and risk management with a system and network security engineering background.
Strong expertise in Okta Identity and Access Management platform is required.
Experience with SailPoint Data Access Governance is a plus.
Knowledge of traditional security controls and technologies such as Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), public key infrastructure (PKI), identity and access management (IDAM) systems, antivirus and firewalls, in addition to newer offerings such as endpoint detection and response (EDR), threat intelligence platforms, security automation and orchestration, deception technologies and application controls.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Employment Type: 6 Month Engagement with potential for extension or conversion to direct-hire employment
Schedule: Hybrid (3 days onsite per week)

Competitive Compensation: $55 to $60 per hour
