Overview
Noeticis seeking a highly skilled engineerto supportan IPv6 implementation project for a client in the Washington, DC area. The position requires a qualified Network Systems Engineer who is responsible for providing technical expertise in network engineering and IPv6 to guide the design, deployment, and configuration of IPv6 across the client's VOIP and ROIP infrastructure.
Primary Skills/Responsibilities
Advanced knowledge in network design, network architecture, protocols, and network topology to include VIOP and ROIP network infrastructure.
Experience and knowledge with Juniper SSR architecture concepts and components.
Experience implementing network architecture using Juniper Session Smart Router (SSR) platform. Router includes the 128T and switch includes t=SSR 130-AE8-TAA.
Experience in designing and implementing large, complex IPv6 networks.
Experience implementing IPv6 routing protocols across large networks.
Juniper Networks Certified Associate, Junos (JNCIA-Junos) Certification and/or Juniper Network Certified Specialist preferred.
Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities as necessary, perform duties in a fast-paced environment, and manage diverse activities to meet competing deadlines.
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team, to meet program objectives.
Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills, strong organizational skills, strong oral and written communication skills, and attention to detail.
Ability to collect and organize data to synthesize key concepts in concise understandable formats.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products.
IP address management (IPAM) (Efficient IP (EIP) or Infoblox)
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in network engineering, information systems, computer engineering, or related technical field.
8+ years of related experience in Network Engineering.
Minimum of 2 years IT Project Management experience
Clearance Requirements : Candidate must be willing to undergo suitability assessment.
