Job Description:

The Monetization team builds products and services that create value for Poshmark’s community while driving incremental revenue for Poshmark. Monetization is a new strategic initiative that is growing rapidly and having a meaningful impact to Poshmark’s business.

Core Skills

Analytical: understands product and business metrics; is able to draw insights from key input and output metrics

Customer focussed: is able to to listen to customers to identify needs and opportunities; can leverage various channels (interviews, surveys, supprote tickets etc…) to source customer perspectives

Cross-functional collaboration: works well with internal cross functional partners (engineering, analytics, customer support, design, finance, accounting etc..) and external vendors

Excellent communications : both written (documents, slides) and verbal

Financial Modeling and Research: can create basic financial models and perform secondary research (e.g. competitor research)

Familiarity with consumer or software product development process: understands agile product development and the key tools and people involved

Prior Background: Ideal candidate has worked in management consulting, product marketing or product management

Manage: manage analysts / associates by delegating relevant work and coaching them for success

Interest or experience in Monetization or Advertising a plus

Candidates likely to succeed are humble, have a growth mindset, move fast and ambitious

Week in the life of the candidate

The Program Manager, Monetization will get exposed to all parts of business and play a critical role in helping the team execute its strategy. A week in the life of the candidate is likely to involve:

Prepare monthly exec updates on behalf Monetization team

Conduct customer research & aggregate insights via existing channels to explore customer needs and pain points

Lead customer success - become a product expert to assist partner teams like customer support, seller services in escalations

Track key product metrics and identify opportunities for product improvement and/or customer education

Manage relationship with external partners (e.g. advertising marketplaces)

Assist Dir of Product Management with writing PRDs, Reporting on bugs, A/B testing, dashboard preparation, refunds, customer support etc..

Assist Growth Marketing to identify new customer segments or opportunities

Partners with finance in preparation of revenue and cost forecasts for month and quarter

Responsible for Accounting, Finance & Legal operations: verifying revenue-to-cash, new vendor contracts etc…

Salary Range:

$136,500.00 - $194,500.00 Annual About Us
