We are seeking a Donations Acquisition Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of Goodwill’s ADCs and donation acquisition/drive activities in the Denver Metro Area. The Donations Acquisition Manager is an inspiring team player who can manage change, while motivating and encouraging others. Donations helps generate the income to support mission operations and community programs provided by Goodwill. Hours of operations Monday- Friday. However, summer hours will change to Thursday-Monday. Job Summary
The Donation Acquisition Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of Goodwill’s ADCs (Attended Donation Centers) and donation acquisition/drive activities in the Denver Metro Area. The Manager will work hands on, leading by example and ensure an efficient and smooth operation of the department.
Essential Functions
Manages the day-to-day operations of Attended Donation Centers. Understands the supply and demand cycle of donated goods. Oversees the proper handling of incoming donations.
Manages, maintains, and improves donation acquisition/drive activities through non-traditional channels by networking, relationship management, and implementing new ideas to generate revenue. Plans, coordinates, and participates in donation events.
Interviews, hires, disciplines, and trains assigned department staff. Ensures proper staffing levels for all ADC locations. Ensures employees are sufficiently skilled to deal effectively with donors.
Advises and counsels subordinates, peers, and superiors on matters relating to work requirements and personnel problems in assigned departments. Prepares or approves all paperwork, to include but is not limited to timecards, time off requests, and performance evaluations.
Represents Goodwill to the public and to those with whom we do business in an honest and professional manner and acts for Goodwill management in making decisions as required.
Maintains maintenance reports on ADC and department vehicles.
Supplies necessary tools, training, materials, and motivation for increased efficiency in all departments.
Oversees the preparation of all required reports and accounting documents.
Maintains confidentiality and reports any situation to the Director of Operations that may require attention or action. Provides recommendations and workable solutions whenever possible.
Complies with all OSHA and CARF requirements.
Oversees placement of community service volunteers within respective departments.
Provides input and works with the Director of Operations reference the departmental portions of the annual budget.
Ensures effective communication across all levels of assigned departments. Distributes all company memorandums, notices, and announcements. Ensures that information is shared about company and departmental activities.
Follows, implements, and ensures adherence to all Goodwill policies, procedures, and programs.
Responsible for developing and maintaining a harmonious working environment within assigned departments. Cultivate a positive culture of pride and ownership.
Other duties as assigned.
Compensation
Salary - $55,000 - $60,000 Annually DOE. This position is eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, Retirement, Long Term Disability, Short Term Disability, Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment, Flexible Spending Accounts, and several voluntary supplemental benefit offerings. In addition, this position is eligible for paid time off in the form of vacation, sick, holiday, floating holiday, jury duty and bereavement leave.

Education
High school diploma or equivalent. College degree preferred.
Experience
Experience working in a customer facing role required. Three (3) years’ experience in management/supervisory position preferred. Experience managing multi-unit site or locations and experience in the thrift industry preferred. Experience working with computer systems such as Microsoft Office. ‘

Must be able to work at any ADC location necessary to provide coverage and supervision. Must possess valid, Colorado driver’s license. Company vehicle provided ! Must be able to drive on company business and a box truck as needed. Must be able to work varied schedules to include weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
