Responsibilities:

Organizes cross-functional activities, for coordination of project activities for the completion of the project (i.e., project deliverables, schedule and budget).

Capable of managing and directing the development of proposals, project initiation, project execution/control and project closeout for planning, Environmental Impact Statements, design and/or construction projects, and is responsible for project budgets, extra work requests and invoicing.

Participates in, or leads project-specific marketing, proposal preparation and presentations for successful project selection. Plans the complete project execution and develops the project manual.

Schedules and monitors manpower requirements against the project budget/spending performance, including managing activities related to project scope, schedule, cost, cash flow, quality, communications, coordination, manpower, discipline requirements, resources, procurement, and risk elements required to optimize client service, quality, and fiscal responsibility.

Establishes contractor-client liaison network to keep interested parties informed of project planning, start date, and work and budget progress. Monitors the project from initiation through delivery including development, execution and updating project manpower.

Forms a project work team that meets regularly to coordinate responsibility for assignment and execution of tasks according to schedule.

Submits documents to Federal, state, and local authorities for code compliance review and submits documentation for the various permits applications as required.

Holds regularly-scheduled project progress meetings to review that the project contract's term conditions, and specifications are being met. Ensures project personnel adhere to federal and state regulatory requirements and company policies and manpower, equipment, materials, and quality procedures are recognized for timely intervention and resolution.

May select, supervise, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Act as point of contact and direct client communication during the project process.

Develop work plan for Move Management or FF&E Coordination; organize project deliverables based on overall project parameters, project schedule and logistics, scope, and client goals.

Work with client and all stakeholders to coordinate Moves and address milestones; meetings, move procedures, manage IT equipment (computers, printers, etc.) relocation, coordinate with movers and client to identify critical path issues to complete projects on schedule.

Work with client and all stakeholders to coordinate FF&E requirements; reuse existing product, new product or combination of both, coordinate all aspects of projects to final installation, coordinate with vendors, construction contractors, and others to identify critical path issues to complete projects on schedule.

Coordinate with all third-party firms (architecture & design firms, contractors, cabling vendors, building managers, electricians, other trades, client's facility managers, and IT groups, movers, etc.).

Maintain detailed project documentation of key project decisions and client/project requests/revisions.

As needed, review plans and specifications for accuracy, completeness, and correctness; and administer corrective actions.

Provide timely and formal written communication throughout projects and distribute all critical information to clients and project team.

Conduct final walk through with required parties, develop and resolve open issues/punch list, and complete project close out documentation.

Qualifications: 1-5 years of experience in Project Manager, FFE, Move Management required

Architecture Degree is required.

Uses project management tools to control schedule, budget and manpower requirements; applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.

Works with basic management tools applied to tasks of moderate scope. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Has internal and some external contacts.

Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments. May provide guidance to others.

Knowledge of interior construction, interior design, moves and relocations, contract furniture, building management and current workplace issues.

Proven ability to integrate frequent changes in scope into project planning.

Knowledge of all aspects of contract furniture management, including project management, installation, relocations, storage management and contract administration.

General understanding of furniture product utilization.

Good product and technical knowledge, including applicable building codes, correct product applications, and electrical and data/cabling requirements.

Ability to read blueprints, conduct field verifications, site measurements and furniture/site surveys.

Good project estimation and budget management skills.

Must be extremely organized, with good time management skills and the ability to work independently with minimal guidance.

Must be able to analyze and problem solve, even with significant ambiguity.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Experience using various industry software including Microsoft products, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, AutoCad, Revit, SketchUp.

Compensation Range:

$94,020.00 - $125,360.00
