ROLE: Databricks engineer (sr.data engineer)
Location : Plano,TX
Key Requirements:
· 10+ years of industry experience.
· Proficiency in Databricks , Apache Spark , Python/Scala , AWS , SQL , Java , and CI/CD Pipeline tools .
· A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Role Responsibilities:
· Implementing at least 2 end-to-end projects with Databricks, including components like Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Databricks Connect, Databricks API, and Databricks workflow Orchestration.
· Mastery of Databricks Lakehouse concepts and their implementation in large-scale enterprise environments.
· Creating complex data pipelines and utilizing data ingestion tools like Nifi .
· Strong skills in Apache Spark , SQL , and Spark-SQL .
· Excellent coding skills in Python (preferred) or Scala.
· Performance optimization skills, including parallel processing techniques.
· Experience with AWS services like S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, CloudWatch.
· Collaborating with architects and lead engineers to design comprehensive solutions.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Agile environment experience.
