The GPS Generative AI Customer Engineering Lead will play a pivotal role in the development of Generative AI business in the Google Public Sector. You will be responsible for leading the community of practice for the Generative AI platform within the GPS Customer Engineering Organization, fostering knowledge sharing and technical excellence. Additionally, the lead will regularly engage with field teams to identify emerging market trends and develop innovative solutions, while collaborating closely with broader GPS teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment with overall business objectives. You will travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events as required.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $181,000-$257,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
Partner with Product Engineering and Technical Sales teams as an Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) subject matter expert to bring Google Cloud AI products to customers.
Empower customers and partners to harness Google AI by explaining technical features, designing architectures, building AI applications, and resolving roadblocks.
Identify and qualify business opportunities, understand key customer technical objections, and develop the strategy to resolve technical blockers.
Leverage AI expertise to foster strong technical relationships with Google's customers, including delivering briefings, creating demos, conducting proof-of-concept work, and collaborating with product management to prioritize solutions driving Google Cloud adoption; recommend optimal integration strategies, architectures, platforms, and infrastructure for successful implementation on Google Cloud.
Lead meetings with field teams to identify emerging market trends and develop innovative solutions, while collaborating closely with broader GPS teams to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
