This position is responsible for providing truck engine and/or chassis repair services to respond to customer needs in a positive, caring, and timely manner. Must build rapport with customers through technical expertise and quality service on equipment so, that service value is received. This position requires a self-motivated, thoughtful individual with a high energy level who can work alone or with others in a shop environment.
REQUIREMENTS:
Candidates MUST meet the requirements below, to be considered for employment:
5 years of experience in engine and/or chassis repair is required.
Must have and maintain a clean driving record.
Must have Caterpillar and Cummins engine repair experience.
Must have experience with Allison Automatic Transmission repair.
Must have their tools.
Eaton Auto Shift and Eaton Manual Transmission experience are required.
Experience with Maxx Force, Detroit Diesel, and Mercedes Benz is a plus but, not required.
Must be willing to assist and train technicians
Must be able to interact effectively with customers and office personnel
Qualifications:
Candidates MUST possess the following qualifications and skills to be considered for employment.
On-highway truck education/certificate of training preferred or equivalent employment history.
The candidate must be self-motivated and thoughtful with a high energy level and can work alone or with others in a shop environment.
Must be capable of performing complex repairs correctly and safely in a shop environment.
Must have interpersonal skills sufficient to engage with customers, vendors, and peers to exchange information, motivate, influence, and persuade.
Must present a positive attitude with customers and co-workers as well.
