Job Description
At a general level, the role will lead, facilitate and participate in customer implementation initiatives, refresh, disaster recovery, software upgrades, rollouts, new products, etc.
Responsible to direct the overall planning, coordination, status reporting and delivery of multiple regional and global large/complex programs, ensuring the project goals and objective are met within agreed upon limits for time, scope, budget and resources.
The Point of Contact for regional/global initiatives for status reporting, issues tracking and escalations. Manage stakeholders relationships with executive level while providing direction and oversight to the resources working on the engagements.
Generation of new methods and ideas with the intention of improving overall productivity quality and efficiency manage business expectations of countries, particularly explaining cost of IT and providing solutions.
Build strong working relationships with key managers in Regional and Global DSC, IT Services and vendor organizations to ensure effective supply of resources are available and provide forecast indicators.
Job Responsibilities
Manage projects across sector/business units
Monitor for budget tracking, status reporting both regionally and on the overall global initiatives.
Support opportunity areas to improve the project delivery process, IT delivery cost, schedule, and quality
Work with Global and Regional resource to deliver detailed requirements, project plans, design and Implementation documentation
Develops or ensures strategies for delivery and testing of an initiative regionally
Ensure service provider organizations deliver all required (Hosting, Telecommunications, Field and Collaboration services) according to agreed processes and procedures
ITIL Foundation experience including working knowledge of; Configuration Management, Change Management, Incident Management, Problem Management, Service Level Management, Cost Management, License Management and Asset Management is desired
MS project, Planview, and other standard planning tools mandatory
Manage project plans tasks, milestones, target dates, pipeline tracking, network solutions, hardware design, which meet and exceed the needs of the business
Product project status reports on weekly basis including an issues log, past week’s accomplishments and planned activities
Ability to communicate with technicians, corporate, industry and professional standards; familiar with standards associates with the role ex. ITIL.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders with clear communication and feedback to ensure project efforts meet customer expectations
Proficient in methods and techniques for delivering effective presentations
Technical: Working knowledge of site and central IT technologies provisioned under the service and product catalog.
Arrange site surveys to ensure the installed hardware and network infrastructure supports the needs of the business
Understanding of the technical relationships between infrastructure technologies and current applications that are part of the product portfolio.
Manage complex work activities covering different regional and cultural environments, technical, financial and quality aspects and contributing to formulation of quality IT Service Design Packages
Work involves creative application of wide range of service management principles and a clear understanding and perspective of IT related goods and services, their value and application to the business. Collecting and analyzing data, information and developing solutions to business challenges.
Customer facing experience, ability provide high level guidance to both internal and external customers to provide the highest quality service and solutions
