Vice President Information Technology

ICX Group is actively recruiting for two VP of IT roles with our clients in the Jacksonville area. These roles are direct hire, permanent openings with one being hybrid and one being onsite.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the company's overall technology strategy in alignment with business objectives.
Lead and mentor a high-performing team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of all IT systems and infrastructure to ensure efficiency, reliability, and security.
Evaluate emerging technologies and trends, recommending adoption where beneficial to the organization's growth and competitiveness.
Establish and enforce IT policies, procedures, and standards to maintain compliance and mitigate risks.
Collaborate with other departments to identify and address technology needs and opportunities for process improvement.
Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to optimize services and reduce costs.
Provide strategic guidance and support for IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
Monitor and report on IT performance metrics, making adjustments as necessary to meet business goals.
Stay abreast of industry developments and best practices, continuously enhancing the organization's technological capabilities.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience (5+ years) in a senior IT leadership role, preferably as a VP or Director.
Strong strategic planning and execution skills, with a track record of driving business-aligned technology initiatives.
Excellent leadership and team-building abilities, with a focus on fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
In-depth knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and security best practices.
Experience managing budgets and vendor relationships to optimize resources and reduce costs.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
Analytical mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement and staying abreast of industry trends.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, PMP) are a plus.
Proven ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and lead through change.
