Construction Supervisor/ Assistant Project Manager

Compensation:
Yearly $50,000-$55,000
Job Description:
Allocate resources for assigned projects
Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs
Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
Ability to read and understand builder documents, plans, drawings, specifications, and blueprints
Strong scheduling & organizational skills
Experience with construction quality control, project scheduling and cost reporting
Contact potential subcontractors clients to determine availability for performing various services on numerous projects
Develop short responses to contracting opportunities
Submit cost proposals to government agencies and private sector clients
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Previous experience in construction management or other related fields
Familiarity with construction management software
Strong leadership qualities
Ability to multitask.
High analytical and critical thinking.
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to direct, delegate and supervise.
Strong negotiation skills
Deadline and detail-oriented
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, & written communication skills
Good team player
Associate /Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management/ Civil
