Senior Data Engineer - Snowflake Migration & Cloud Data Platform

Description

Senior-level engineer providing architecture, hands-on development, and technical leadership across enterprise applications, data, cloud, and AI initiatives. This role leads Snowflake migration efforts and drives modernization of the broader data platform ecosystem.

Essential Functions

Lead Snowflake migration: data migration, services migration, fast-access database migration, and enterprise service integrations

Build reusable solutions that improve data access, application scalability, security, governance, and long-term maintainability

Design and support solutions using Java, Python, Node, React, AI frameworks, Cloudera Data Platform, DB2, and Fast Access Databases

Lead centralized data classification, GW Chat integration, agentic application development, member longitudinal summary work, vulnerability remediation automation, and legacy modernization efforts

Provide deep technical guidance on the Cloudera Data Platform ecosystem - supporting current workloads, modernization planning, and migration readiness

Education

Related Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

Work Environment

Hybrid - schedule determined by role requirements/business needs. Occasional travel to corporate/regional offices may be required.
