The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data engineering, cloud-based data warehousing, and ETL pipeline development, with a passion for delivering reliable, high-quality data solutions.

Job Description:

The

Senior Data Engineer - Snowflake

is responsible for implementing and maintaining enterprise-grade data pipelines that integrate on-premises and cloud-based data sources into Snowflake. This role focuses on data ingestion, transformation, modeling, and orchestration to support analytics and reporting use cases.

As a

Senior Data Engineer - Snowflake , you will collaborate closely with data architects, analytics teams, and business stakeholders to ensure data is structured, reliable, and optimized for performance. You will leverage tools such as Kafka, CDC frameworks, Airflow, and Python to design and manage robust ETL workflows.

will also contribute to data modeling efforts, CI/CD automation, and technical documentation while ensuring best practices in data governance and pipeline reliability. This position is ideal for a

who excels in problem-solving, communication, and hands-on technical delivery within complex data environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and maintain data synchronization between on-premises Oracle databases and Snowflake using Kafka and CDC tools

Design, build, and manage ETL data pipelines using Airflow for orchestration and Python for data transformation

Support the development and optimization of Snowflake data models to meet analytics and reporting requirements

Collaborate with data architects to structure Snowflake data for efficient and insightful reporting

Develop and maintain data pipelines that support enterprise-scale analytics use cases

Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for data pipelines, ETL processes, and data models

Optimize data ingestion, transformation, and storage for performance and scalability

Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment of data workflows and infrastructure changes

Work with databases including Oracle, Snowflake, and Databricks

Ensure data quality, reliability, and adherence to engineering best practices

Collaborate using version control systems and team collaboration tools

Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

Analyze complex data issues and resolve them independently

Perform other related duties as assigned

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Proven experience as a Senior Data Engineer - Snowflake or in a similar data engineering role

Strong hands-on experience with Oracle, Snowflake, and Databricks

Proficiency with Kafka and CDC tools for data integration

Expertise in Airflow for pipeline orchestration

Advanced skills in Python and SQL

Strong understanding of data modeling and data warehousing principles

Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure

Familiarity with CI/CD implementation for data pipelines

Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills

Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to solve complex problems
