Job Responsibilities
Assist supervising attorney in management of family law cases
Prepare letters, pleadings, declarations, lodgments, attachments to subpoenas, financial disclosures, mediation, and trial briefs
Propound and respond to discovery, prepare meet and confer letters, and prepare motions to compel
Telephone and email contact with clients, opposing counsel, and the court
Prepare deposition outlines and exhibits
Prepare witness questions for evidentiary hearings and trial
Conduct legal research and prepare memorandums
Track billable time
Qualifications
Must be admitted to and in good standing with the California bar
Two to five years of family law experience desired
A fast learner with strong analytical skills and oral and written communication skills
Attention to detail and excellent proofreading skills
Highly motivated professional who can take initiative and work well within a team
Anticipated Base Salary $115,000.00 - $165,000
Compensation will be commensurate with experience, salary is flexible depending on the candidate
