Director of Environmental Services
Essential Job Duties:
+ Develop strategies for cleanliness, sanitation, and infection control in the hospital.
+ Manage daily operations, including staffing and budgeting.
+ Ensure compliance with regulations like OSHA, EPA, and Joint Commission.
+ Collaborate with other departments to maintain a safe environment.
+ Implement quality assurance programs for improvement.
+ Lead and train environmental services staff.
+ Maintain relationships with vendors for supplies.
+ Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
+ Prepare reports for hospital leadership and regulatory agencies.
+ Participate in committees for infection control and safety.
Qualifications:
+ Four years college degree is required.
+ Three to five (3-5) years of hospital experience in which administrative, supervisory, and teaching ability have been successfully demonstrated.
