In order to participate in Berklee Student Employment, a student must fulfill the following requirements:
Current student at Berklee College of Music or Boston Conservatory at Berklee.
Enrolled at least half-time in a degree, diploma, or certificate-seeking undergraduate or graduate program. Summer is the only semester in which a student can maintain employment without being enrolled. In this case, the student must be pre-registered for the upcoming fall semester. This exception does not apply to fall or spring semesters.
Have a valid United States Social Security Number (SSN).
Remain in "valid" Visa status as applicable.
A minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA. Students in their first semester can work, even though they do not have an official GPA until the completion of their first semester.
Federal Work Study student may apply.
In good disciplinary standing.
Must be located in the U.S.

The Office Assistant will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of the Study Abroad office. The main function is to provide direct office support for staff and advise prospective students and their families. This position will also assist with research projects, data entry, and other duties for the Center for Student Advising and Success.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Monitor and process email, telephone, calendar and other communications
Maintain application records, ensuring accuracy of data
Scheduling information sessions and advising appointments and updating materials
Scan, upload, copy, store and file documents as directed
Maintain professional demeanor in the office and cooperate with colleagues and supervisors
Establish and maintain clear communication with coworkers to ensure that all projects are on task or completed and that office hours are covered
Run errands between departments as needed
Maintain social networking websites for programs
Assist with orientation meetings and cataloguing student documents
Assist with promotions and recruitment events
Occasionally work at the front line for the center, directing visitors and incoming communications to the appropriate departments
Knowledge and Skills/ Requirements: Strong interpersonal skills, highly organized
Attentive to details, sensitive to confidential information
Strong verbal and written skills in English
Knowledge of Google Suite and Microsoft OfficeParticular consideration will be given to past participants in Study Abroad/First Year Abroad
