Level up your executive presence as you take part in public speaking and broadcasting engagements

Be an integral player in the growth of this publisher as it undergoes a redesign. You will help this company’s media become the essential “must read” on the daily for promotions industry insiders

The Nitty Gritty

The backstory on the company and why they need to hire you!

As Deputy Editor, your job, should you choose to accept it, will be to take over day-to-day management of all editorial efforts (a monthly magazine as well as daily reporting on news and trends) and oversee the production of all print and digital assets for this global association.

You will lead an editorial team of four—three writers and one graphic designer—to success. Under your leadership, the site will improve its newsiness—increasing the temperature on hard news as well as including a sprinkling of variety/trends/virality.

You should have management experience building out and editing packages, translating reports into must read-news – industry trends plus company and personal profiles

Experience at a B2B Publisher or Trade Association that publishes news, research, and/or hosts events for its members is preferred

You have a strong eye for winning copy, art, and design with a strategic upside

Experience taking B2B content and making it fun and interesting in a consumer-y way is a must. This publisher’s audience is made up of creative marketers and branding and event professionals who are definitely not dull and will be looking for invigorating and inspirational content.

A track record of growing loyal audiences through sharpened content, newsletters and social media would be ideal

Management experience is a must (you have overseen the work and career of at least one direct report in the past)
