DevOps Associate Manager_

**Description:** We are seeking a talented Associate Manager to join our Web and Mobile Design Team\. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, front\-end developers and back\-end developers to create engaging websites and applications\. This leader will ensure that their team’s efforts align with corporate strategies and Aeronautics’ key business objectives\. Must have proven experience in web design and development and have demonstrated leadership abilities\. The successful candidate will manage and optimize our AWS cloud infrastructure\. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps practices and extensive experience in managing and leading virtual teams\.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize our AWS cloud infrastructure, including EC2, RDS, S3, ECS, Lambda, etc\.

• Lead and mentor a virtual team of Developers in best practices and new technologies

• Collaborate with cross\-functional teams to deploy and manage applications in a cloud environment

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, using tools such as Gitlab

• Implement and maintain security best practices, such as IAM roles, and security groups

• Stay current with the latest trends and developments in the DevOps and cloud computing fields

• Create and maintain documentation for infrastructure, processes, and procedures

• Manage administrative duties: coordinate subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training; performance assessments; work assignments and salary and recognition/disciplinary actions\.

**Basic Qualifications:**

• Experience with AWS services \(e\.g\.,EC2, RDS, S3, ECS\)

• Certification in AWS \(e\.g\., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer\)

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders\.

• Experience leading virtual teams

**Desired Skills:**

• Knowledge in infrastructure as code \(IaC\)

• A track record of engagement, creative thinking and problem solving

• NodeJS/React/\.NET frameworks

• Network server knowledge

**Ability to Work Remotely:** Full\-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site\. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings\.

**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.

**Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

**Pay Rate:**

The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $94,500 \- $178,000\. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only\. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as \(but not limited to\) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer\.

**Pay Rate:**

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York \(excluding most major metropolitan areas\), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $82,100 \- $157,500 \. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only\. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as \(but not limited to\) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer\.

\(Washington state applicants only\) Non\-represented full\-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off \(PTO\) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays\. Represented full time employees accrue 6\.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays\. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year\.
