**Boeing Global Services** (BGS) is seeking an **Lead** **Shipping and Receiving Specialist** to support the Materials Management & Transportation team based out of **Coppell, TX** .
**This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.**
**Position Responsibilities**
+ Oversees resolution of incoming/outgoing shipment discrepancies.
+ Escalates critical issues to the appropriate level and engages with the correct stakeholders.
+ Leads coordination and confirmation of receipt/shipping documentation for internal/external customers.
+ Serves as point of contact for priority incoming/outgoing shipments.
+ Monitors shipping/receiving discrepancies.
+ Develops solutions to mitigate errors.
**This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To** **meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required.** **“U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.**
**Basic** **Qualifications/Experience:**
+ Minimum of 5 years' experience handling chemicals and/or hazardous materials
+ Minimum of 5 years' experience with SAP
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Experience working in warehouse and/or logistics operations
+ Experience working with a computer based inventory management system or warehouse management system
+ Experience working with warehouse equipment (including educational and operational training)
**Typical Education/Experience**
+ Typically 10 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
**Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.**
