This position offers an exciting opportunity for an ambitious team player to help drive the next chapter of our growth by supporting Grindr’s Finance team.

What’s the job?

In this role, you will partner with the FP&A team and finance leadership to provide business leaders with budgeting, forecasting, internal financial reporting, and ad hoc analyses. In particular, this role will directly support all business leaders in managing their budgets and providing insights to inform forecasting and investment decisions.

Partner with business leaders to prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts at the department level and support day-to-day management of their budgets.

Understand each partner’s business area and leverage that knowledge to provide analyses that inform business decisions. Serve as a financial expert, providing insights that contribute to the assessment of both new and existing investment opportunities.

Partner with HR to track headcount budgets and corresponding labor spend, including internal and external labor strategy

Develop and maintain financial models, reports, and analysis to support key business decisions and strategic initiatives.

Monitor key performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyze results and causes of variance and present to senior management as needed.

Perform ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required.

Improve and scale by developing repeatable processes, including standardizing and automating reports and improving how we leverage internal systems

What we'll love about you

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration

5+ years of experience working in FP&A, corporate finance, or similar (preferably in a tech organization)

Advanced Excel, Power Point, Google Sheets, and Google Slides skills

Strong written and oral communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to present insights clearly.

Strong stakeholder management skills

Working knowledge of GAAP principles

MBA

Investment banking experience

Preferred software knowledge: Oracle, and SQL
