General Purpose:
Responsible for managing accurate, timely completion and submission of a variety of data entry including patient information, daily reporting, and the paper flow of clerical functions in the office.
Essential Functions:
Schedules and appropriately documents patient schedules in a timely manner.
Participates in coordinating care with management, patient, and interdisciplinary group.
Provides effective communication to patients, staff members, other health care professionals and referral sources.
Responds to Agency and patient needs in a professional and creative manner.
Demonstrates commitment, professional growth and competency.
Promotes the Agency philosophy and administrative policies to ensure quality of care.
Receives and appropriately documents new referrals in a timely manner.
Participates in coordinating care with Nursing Supervisors, patients, and the interdisciplinary group.
Provides effective communication to patients, staff members, other health care professionals and referral sources.
Responds to Agency and patient needs in a professional and creative manner.
Demonstrates commitment, professional growth and competency.
Participates in Agency-sponsored in-service training.
Participates in the Agency's QAPI program.
Promotes the Agency philosophy and administrative policies to ensure quality of care.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
High school graduate or equivalent (college preferred)
Two years general office management and human resource experience preferred
If an LVN/LPN, nursing skills as defined as generally accepted standards of practice.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
Knowledge of office machines preferred
Computer skills required, excellent interpersonal and organization skill
Good interpersonal skills
Light typing preferred
Reliable transportation
If an LVN/LPN, one year experience preferred.
