Job Description:
The work includes all phases of the software development lifecycle and leverages capabilities of the Oracle software products.
The target environment will be Oracle EBS R12.2.5 with capabilities to support:
Procure to Pay
Order to Cost
Budget to Report
Functional expertise with prior Oracle EBS Financial Management knowledge.
Key Duties and Responsibilities :
The B2R Consultant will be responsible for the functional design, configuration, testing, and training of the General Ledger (GL), , Payables, Receivables and Project Accounting modules within Oracle eBusiness Suite (eBS) version 12.2.4 solution. The B2R consultant will perform the following activities:
Coordinate with client SME's and stakeholders to identify and maintain business requirements and use cases.
Conduct Gap analysis and resolution.
Complete functional designs for all Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, and Workflows (RICE-W) within the General Ledger (GL), Payables, Receivables and Project Accounting modules.
Coordinate with the development team to support technical design and development of RICE-W objects.
Configure the General Ledger (GL), Payables, Receivables and Project Accounting modules within eBS version 12.2.
Qualifications and Experience:
Mandatory requirements for this position include:
7+ years' experience designing and implementing Oracle E-Business Suite R12 solutions.
B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent and 10-12 years of related experience.
US Citizenship, and the ability to get Secret clearance.
Core expertise in OUM, Gap Analysis, Process Mapping, Defining Business Requirements, Implementation and Configuration of Oracle eBS suite modules for DoD/Federal Financial applications.
Experience developing Functional design specifications using OUM.
Proficient in the functional aspects of Oracle eBS 12.2 deployment and testing.
Strong knowledge of development methodology including agile methods, model driven development and test driven development.
Proficient in RICEW (Reports, Interfaces, Configuration, Enhancement and Workflows) functional specification creation, legacy data conversion, migration, and cleansing.
Preferred qualifications include:
Experience with an Oracle R12.2.4 upgrade of a DoD/Federal Financial Management solution
