Full Stack Developer

Job Description

American Cruise Lines, the largest cruise line in the United States, is looking to add a Full-Stack Developer. Our candidate must be willing to work in office at Guilford, CT every weekday.

Responsibilities

Modifying and testing changes to previously developed programs.

Testing and providing feedback to management during the development process.

Maintaining and upgrading the software following deployment.

Managing the end-to-end life cycle for the production of software and applications.

Working toward participating in the complete software development process from conception to deployment.

Writing, building, and deployment of software.

Qualifications

Front-end technology: Expertise in JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5 and third-party libraries including Angular or AngularJS and jQuery.

Development languages: Knowledge of server-side programming languages including C# and .NET.

Database: Familiarity with DBMS technology, including SQL Server.

Basic design ability: Including knowledge of UI/UX and basic prototype design.

Server: Experience working with Windows IIS and Linux servers.

Excellent writing and communication skills.

Ability to understand a component of a proposed system and be able to build it with guidance.

Educational/Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related STEM.

Or associate’s degree with 3-5 years of work experience.

Or 5+ years of experience.
