Requirements We want 7+ years of professional back-end development experience.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable building large applications and handling big projects.

We need a developer who can make architectural decisions and clearly explain the reasoning behind them.

We are seeking strong MySQL knowledge and solid database schema design skills.

We expect you to understand and stand behind every decision in your own code.

We value a strong sense of ownership and integrity, including the ability to identify issues and challenge poor decisions.

We are looking for someone who is eager to keep learning.

Experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony is a plus.

Front-end experience with JavaScript, Vue, or React is a plus.

Agency or client-facing experience is a plus.

Hands-on experience with ProcessWire is a plus.

We prefer a bachelors degree.

We require 5 years of PHP experience.

We prefer 7 years of back-end development experience.

We require English proficiency.

We prefer candidates located in South Windsor, CT 06074 and within commuting distance.

We require authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities We will have you build the backend of a large, data-driven healthcare web application using Python for data processing.

We will have you make architectural decisions around content models, data structure, API design, and how modules and services connect.

We will expect you to write clean, maintainable code and own it from database schema through front-end template.

We will have you review and improve existing systems, not just add new functionality.

We will have you work directly with clients to translate business needs into technical solutions.
