Head of Social Strategy

In the Head of Social Strategist position, you'll be responsible for executing and planning the best practices in Social Media and for digital content for one of our largest tech clients, including new business opportunities. This is a role where you will be responsible for being part of a diverse and fast-paced set of projects from beginning to end, including hands-on project management, ad hoc social media consultation, building strategic recommendations, monitoring & optimizations of strategies.

Additionally, our ideal candidate is a fast and flexible go-getter who jumps on new opportunities.

In this role you will:

* Develop social and digital content strategies, based on the understanding of the client's brand message, voice, objectives and target audiences.* Provide creative and strategic input on social and digital projects.* Work closely with account and creative to execute strategies for B2C and B2B as needed.* Supervise and support Content strategists and Community Management teams, as they relate to the strategic objectives.* Monitor and audit Social Media strategies for current clients, as part of the continuous optimization process.* Analyze the results obtained from the different reports of the analytical and monitoring tools for continuous optimization of the account.* Monitor trends in social networks to adjust the strategy, content and work based on the latest platforms updates and innovations.* Collaborate with the Data team, in the development of crisis management and control documents.* Tackle every pitch and new business project that request social expertise* Have an eye to detect business opportunities and develop the right solution.* Take the lead when needed in front of the clients, and provide a valuable strategic POV.* Provide thought leadership on social media vision and best practices for the marketing of today and tomorrow, powered by AI, fueled by cultural context, trends and conversations and think dynamically of the intersection of social listening and content creation

Experience you already have:

* You have a minimum of 10-12 years of experience in digital environments in roles such as Digital planner or a Social Media strategist.* Experience in team/people management* In-depth knowledge of the Social Media environment, formats, and trends.* How to build a Social media strategy and set roles for social media platforms.* How to understand digital audiences and their behaviors.* Develop digital ecosystems and find opportunities in emerging and new platforms.* Develop consumer journeys and have the skills to clearly articulate your findings and opportunities in excellent storytelling.* Digital paid media environments.* Social commerce environments.* How to measure success and which metrics are the valuable ones according to objectives, digital channels, and formats.* Reading qualitative and quantitative data and clarity to recognize valuable findings in a sea of data.* Develop strategic thinking, but you also identify when tactical thinking is the way to go.* Used common research and analysis tools such as Sysomos, Statista, Global Web Index, Facebook Insights, or Socialbakers.* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Able to present information and ideas clearly and persuasively.* Curious and attentive to popular culture, always learning mentality.
