Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Compensation:

$28-35/hour, depending on experience

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Maintenance Technician to join their team!

This is a strong direct hire opportunity for a hands-on maintenance professional who enjoys solving problems and keeping production running smoothly. In this role, you’ll support critical equipment and facility systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where reliability, safety, and teamwork matter. Key Responsibilities & Duties:

Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on equipment

Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems

Maintain motors, sensors, pumps, compressors, and related equipment

Support VFD and PLC-controlled equipment diagnostics and repairs

Read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings

Complete facility maintenance, including lighting, HVAC, and utilities

Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and manufacturers for repairs

Document maintenance work orders and equipment service accurately

Follow all safety procedures, including LOTO requirements

Respond quickly to breakdowns to minimize production downtime

Required Qualifications & Experience:

5-10 years of industrial maintenance experience

Manufacturing environment experience required

Strong knowledge of 120V-480V electrical systems

Experience with mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems

Ability to troubleshoot industrial controls and automation

Hands-on experience with VFDs and PLC-controlled equipment

Ability to use diagnostic tools and perform root cause analysis

Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and within a team

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

Experience with welding equipment and welding processes

Light fabrication skills, including MIG, TIG, or Stick welding

Technical degree, apprenticeship, or industry certification

Maintenance, electrical, mechatronics, or automation background

CMMS software experience

Continuous improvement experience

Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and climb ladders

Work around moving machinery and energized equipment
