We are currently seeking a **Custodian** to perform custodial work in offices, warehouses, industrial areas and other building interiors and exteriors in accordance with company standards for quality, cleanliness, client satisfaction, and safety and security. This is a full-time position paying $14 per hour. The Housekeeping department is open Monday-Saturday 7am to 5:30pm. Work will be scheduled during these hours and is subject to overtime. There may be need for occasional evening work.
**Essential Functions**
- Sweep, vacuum, mop, scrub, wax and polish floors, primarily back-of-house (Operations shop, Housekeeping storage, access stairs, etc.) and at the warehouse location.
- Operate carpet cleaner and other equipment using chemicals and cleaning solutions.
- Clean outside public access areas, sweep and remove debris from sidewalks and gutters, wash windows or perform other incidental seasonal tasks.
- Clean and maintain courtyards including watering plants and removing weeds.
- Receive and stock deliveries of housekeeping items and other supplies.
- Move cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates, and equipment.
- Empty and remove trash daily.
- Clean and maintain moving equipment (dollies, carts, etc.).
- May be asked to run errands as required by management.
- Assist the Maintenance Technician in maintaining and repairing facilities.
