Our sales team is growing and we are currently seeking a savvy customer focused BDR to join our Redmond, WA team!

The BDR will focus on identifying, connecting and qualifying customer opportunities in one or more vertical markets.

What You Will Do

Meet or exceed monthly lead generation and conversion targets as set by XKL Management

Qualify prospects and set up meetings for the Sales Executives and other Sales team member to work with the warm, qualified lead.

Initiate contact with potential customers thru cold calls, emails, text and/or social media to introduce XKL’s products and value proposition to establish initial rapport

Build a list of target customers that fit the ICP (Ideal Customer Profile) within the target vertical market. Identify specific buyers and influencers in those target customer lists.

Evaluate the suitability of leads by asking relevant questions and gathering information to determine their potential as a viable opportunity for XKL

Develop and maintain relationships with leads, providing them with relevant information, resources and insights to keep them engaged and move them to warm prospects in the sales funnel. Maintain a disciplined process for regular follow-up.

Coordinate and schedule appointments for the outside sales team with qualified leads

Continuously Improve Messaging to optimize your efficiency and success relative to the competitive positioning. Tailor the messaging to the unique customer requirements

Record all transactions, activities and information related to leads and opportunities in the CRM system. Optimize the number of outreach events daily using the CRM and other tech tools available for prospecting.Using the CRM, monitor and report on key performance metrics such as lead conversion rates, outreach touches and pipeline growth.

Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align strategies, share insights and refine messaging for lead generation.

Track the progress of leads through the sales pipeline updating relevant stakeholders on their status and ensuring timely follow-ups. Prepare detailed summaries of qualified leads, including their needs, challenges and potential value to facilitate a smooth handoff to the sales team.

Develop Product, Market and Competitive Knowledge including a strong knowledge of XKL products, market knowledge, competitors, emerging technologies, market trends, customer needs, XKL Value Proposition and messaging.

Requirements

Two or more years of inside sales experience

Knowledge of the Broadband Market. Knowledge of Layer 1 equipment a plus

Experience with CRM software

Strong competitive drive for success in reaching your goals

Excellent communication skills

Results-oriented, highly productive, self-starter who can multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment

Willingness to work on-site in the Redmond office daily
