Position Overview
We are looking for a Marketing Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a key role in supporting the end-to-end execution of campaigns and initiatives that build awareness, generate leads and drive sales.
You will work with the Marketing team to develop, deliver, monitor, and report on marketing activities, contributing to a wide range of functions, including but not limited to communications, advertising, digital marketing, events, and social media.
The Marketing Specialist must be an organized multitasker able to handle many different projects at once and meet tight deadlines. This is a hybrid position based in our downtown Chicago office.
What You Will Do:
Develop creative marketing content across all our channels that educates customers and prospects on the value of our software, including: Pitching ideas, Ad and email campaigns, website, landing pages, case studies, infographics, eBooks, weekly blogs, press releases, presentations, webinars, video scripts, social media posts, and marketing/sales collateral, etc.
Strategize topics for monthly webinars and blogs including: Creating marketing plans, writing the content, building presentations, coordinating speakers and reporting on results
Support the planning, execution, and measurement of other marketing initiatives
Analyze campaign performance and prepare reports
Stay on top of industry trends and customer pain points to inform editorial calendar, conducting research for campaigns, competitive analysis, market trends, customer behavior, content creation and content library-building
Continually seek and research new ways to reach customers
Be eager to learn and take on new responsibilities
Other tasks as assigned
Your Qualifications:
At least 2 years of marketing or communications experience; B2B SaaS industry experience a plus
Familiarity with marketing automation or email software; experience with HubSpot, and Salesforce a plus
Basic understanding of SEO or a willingness to learn; experience with Google Analytics, SEMRush a plus
Independent working style
Strong project management skills; ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and communicate clearly with multiple stakeholders
Excellent business writing, communication, and presentation skills
High attention to detail with exceptional grammar/spelling
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Journalism, English or related field
